The Background
Urban youth charity XLP asked us to produce a Flash based website that aims to raise awareness of gang culture and its effects on society, as well as provide loads of practical advice for any teenager effected by or worried about gangs. The site's launch coincided with the release of the book "Fighting Chance" book written by XLP CEO, Pat Regan.
The Solution
- XLP supplied design assets and detailed brief of what the site needed to do
- We built the site using Flash and ActionScript
- The site had to support video, audio , images and text content
- XLP needed to update the content themselves so we built the site in such a way that updates would be easy
- We built components that allow users to submit their own content for XLP to moderate and publish to the site
- Resulted in a nice, easy to use and engaging website and turned around very quickly to meet a challenging launch deadline
