The Background
XLP is a well established south London based youth charity that connects and serves young people through community, schools and arts projects.
Contrapositive has been a long-term supporter and sponsor of this work through digital, video and print communications projects.
Besides the regular flyers that we produce to promote the annual Arts Showcase initiative, the charity approached us to:
- Produce literature to help communicate its newly gained responsibility for the Soul In the City initiative in the London region
- Produce a prospectus that would help to communicate the charity's activities to its wide ranging stakeholders including potential funders (a key audience group for that year).
The Solution
- Explored the relationship between the newly developed XLP brand mark and the Soul in the City brand
- Produced a treatment which would allow these two established identities to coexist whilst preserving their distinct values
- Applied this treatment to a wall planner and postcard flyer as key communications collateral for the year
- Designed an 8pp prospectus, communicating the charity's schools activity based on the new design treatment
