The Background
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) exists to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications, and is the world's largest charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research.
- JDRF needed to enhance its youth outreach work with the specific aim of recruiting more young people with type 1 who could act as ambassadors for the JDRF message and help raise funds in their peer groups and schools.
In addition, had an existing publication aimed at young people with type 1 and asked Contrapositive to provide design services for future versions.
The Solution
- Designed an exciting and appealing sub brand for the to aid communication with potential youth ambassadors
- Applied the developed branding across a range of marketing materials, creating a pack that could be sent to T1 Ambassadors
- Ongoing design for print/artworking services for the three times per year, 20pp, T1 magazine, based on an existing house style
