Oasis: 24 hours interactive

The Background

Oasis wanted to produce an interactive element to be added to their site in the run up to and following the Christmas period
The aims of the interactive was to:
- raise awareness about the broad range of projects that Oasis is involved with, and
- raise unrestricted donations to the charity
It had to be based around a Christmas theme and give a candid insight into a day in a life of the charity as told by its various staff and volunteers

Users were presented with the interactive calendar on opening the Oasis website
They could then click on the appropriate day's door and be taken to that day's entry.
Users could then view staff stories, documenting their work for Oasis, make a donation or view previous entries.
Donations received from this activity were traceable in Oasis online donation system
The interactive was built in such a way that the content could be repurposed easily later on as the content created gave an excellent snapshot of what Oasis does
We also designed an animated GIF banner that could be sent to partner sites and added to email signatures across the organisation to help promote the activity
