The Background
- Childnet International asked us to create an interactive element of the Digizen website which would help:
- Engage young people in the information
- Provide an opportunity to reinforce the key messages for these users
- Create community and a focal point for this issue for its young users
The Solution
- Designed and built the Flash based Digiworld interactive to reside on the Digizen website
- Users can create and customise their own Digizen and add information that conveys their desires for themselves, their friends and the world in which they live.
- When finished their Digizen is added to the Digiworld along with all other members of the community
- Users can find their (and their friends) Digizen and read its wishes by rolling over areas of the characters head
- They can also generate code which allows them to embed their Digizen in their own social networking or other site
- This provides a natural and self perpetuating viral marketing opportunity that resides in the appropriate digital environment, thereby reinforcing the programme's messaging
